Secret Destination #6 feels like we should be on day four or five, and yet it is only day three. Rhinoa packed a ton of activity into the first two days, which was really awesome as it balanced out our more lackadaisical time in Edinburgh at the end of our stay.
The morning of day three we went to a wildlife sanctuary and hedgehog hospital. Yes. A HEDGEHOG HOSPITAL. That was the best part. There are a lot of hedgehogs in the countryside. They can get stuck in empty tin cans or trapped in certain kinds of planters. They gave a little safety demo on how to keep hedgehogs safer. If a hedgehog does get trapped, it can be brought to the hospital for care. The hedgehogs were really cute. Rhinoa got really cuddly with a hedgehog. It crawled inside her jacket.
In addition to the hedgehogs, we saw an owl, a fox, a weasel, a ferret, a llama-like animal I forgot the name of, a donkey, and a pig.
After we left the wildlife sanctuary, we went to our final secret destination: Lyme Regis. We stopped for lunch at a little seaside place, then we walked the Jurassic Coast searching for fossils!!!!!! Fossils, I say!!! There are tons! You can hack at the rocks if you'd like and dig out your own or you can buy them in the gift shop. (I bought mine at the gift shop, too tired to play archaeologist.) It was definitely really cool and appealed to the tiny science nerd in my heart.

After exploring the fossil beach, we headed back to London. We met Rhinoa's hubby, had a lovely dinner at a lovely place called Pizza Express, which surprisingly looked quite upscale inside. The following morning we said our goodbyes and caught a flight to Scotland.
